Please watch your email closely – you will be receiving one or two emails with lots of details about our new turf management program and other changes and facts that will impact the upcoming seasons.
But for now, out of an abundance of caution, we are closing Southwest City Dog Park at 10:00pm on Sunday, March 22. We believe it is the right thing to do. With so many new Covid-19 guidelines appearing every day – and considering we were planning a season closing later next week anyway – we have decided to close on Sunday. In addition to safety factors, this will give us additional days to get our new turf going for next season – a very good thing!
We will also have to move the park furniture on Sunday afternoon – say around 3:00pm – so any of you who can drop by to help – much appreciated…we cannot do it alone.
Hydro Dynamics will turn on the irrigation system and flag the sprinkler heads on Monday and Hilltop Landscape crew will pick up and haul away all the straw. We do not need a volunteer crew for straw raking this year, again a cautionary move. Weather permitting, Hilltop should complete the excavation, seeding, etc before the end of next week and then Mother Nature will take over.
Again – keep an eye on your email — we a have a lot to share with you. Coming soon!
